A little secluded beach on the southern tip of Penang Island is the Teluk Bayu. It has a small fresh water lake. The lake is being filled by rain water as there is no stream running into the lake. For direction to the beach, check the map below the flag on the left of this page by wikimapia/Google.
From higher ground, you could see the scenic lake and the greenery around.

Opposite Teluk Bayu is Pulau Kendi. Pulau Kendi is known in chinese as "Ho Lor Su" or the guitar gourd island.
Sungai Batu or Rock River has muddy bed and mudskippers are common. There is a small village name after this river.
Have you seen coffee plants in Penang? This is the village where coffee planting is common among the villagers.
The fruits were plucked and dried under the sun on the verandah.
